Historic Provenance

Inspired by a marble Ionic column preserved in The Met’s Greek and Roman Art collection, the chandelier reflects the elegance of ancient architectural detailing, such as foliate carvings and fluted shafts, recreated in its sleek ridged silhouette. The original column once towered over 58 feet high in the ancient city of Sardis.
